Randomness in the Life of a Fool

Honey! I'm hoooooooooooome!!!! **grins** always wanted to say that, along with, 'it was a dark and stormy night'. lol
anyways, I was going to post Saturday morning, but my parents rushed me out the door. I should have picked up another book, I was bored to tears all weekend.
But I had this crazy half-dream Friday night. I was sort of asleep when I woke up with a yelp. I had the impression that there was someone leaning over me, holding something small and fuzzy. When I regained my senses, I realized that no body was there and I had been dreaming. kind of spooky, actually.
Last night I had another fun dream. I'm blaming it on the lack of books. ^.^ I was running around, as if I was playing some sort of virtual reality RPG. There were different activities, and I had this wand thing. I could change people and things, like, a kitten would become a tiger, or a firecracker would become a nuclear bomb. (I didn't actually use the bomb thing, but it's an example). I was the leader who helped my team mates get through obstacle courses and other things that I don't remember.edit: The wand looksed like a remote control by this point, and came very handy to blow up alien invaders. Except one, who turned into a person and joined the game and later led Chatch the Neko Then we were exploring, and I was running around in this towel dress thing, with no gender, acting like Ed from Cowboy Bebop, and it was a game of 'Catch the Neko', with the Neko being ME!

it was... interesting. After that I had a dream about going to Anime North, but having to go on the train, and then meeting K-chan and her sister M-chan on the train, cause it's the same train. Either that or we decided that since I had a car, I would drive us there.

oh right, I drove from Oshawa to Niagara, and then from Niagara to Oshawa again. Through Toronto.

oh, and I've been practicing drawing chibis!! ^.^ yay!!!

okay, so I was all set to go to CNAnime, Ember and I had everything ready. We worked very hard to get the money and to organize going. All ready, the countdown was going.

and my parents decide that they don't like what we have planned, and so they call Ember's parents. And Ember's parents don't like what's happening either, and so they call it off.

Ember was in tears. I was just about to, but I hate the way I do when I'm crying, and how my emotions just spiral downward from that. If I gave in to crying, I'd be miserable. So I clenched my teeth, and refused to give in. I have no reason to be ashamed. And I'm not going to give into rage either. None of those emotions help.

So I've planned what I'm going to do with the remainer of the money. I have a gift certificate still that I want to get rid of. I figure I go buy that manga that I had to return. THEN I'll save the rest of the money for AnimeNorth 2005. And start saving 5$ a week. That way I'll have enough money to actually buy stuff.

I can pull this off. I can! I'll prove it!
